Perhaps the greatest phenomenon of this annual event is that hundreds of people contribute countless hours and means to support this fund-raiser for Vacaville residents in need. Almost everything sold at Festival of Trees is donated and everyone working the event is a volunteer!
Trees are decorated and donated by individuals, businesses, service groups, churches and schools. Others generously donate crafts, baked goods and raffle items to fill the shops. Corporations provide some of the covered trucks and drivers who help deliver trees.
And, of course, it wouldn't make any sense to showcase such gorgeous trees, crafts, baked goods and raffle prizes if nobody was there to enjoy them!

Churches, businesses, organizations and individuals are the foundation of the Festival of Trees. People working together for a common cause are why it is so successful. The Festival relies completely on the efforts of volunteers and would not be possible without their involvement.
We're always looking for entertainment announcers and emcees, Santa's helpers, and people to staff the auction table, as well as the crafts, baked goods and raffle shops.

Each year the Festival of Trees presents a forest of beautiful Christmas trees that are auctioned off to the highest bidder. This year will again feature 50 large trees and 50 mini-trees. All are ornately decorated and donated by local individuals, businesses, service groups, churches and schools.
Unfortunately, space and electricity are limited, so there is an application process for tree donations and, often times, a wait list. If you are interested in donating a tree, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our craft shop is always busy and features an assortment of handcrafted treasures, including toys, Christmas décor, jewelry, baby gifts, kitchen gadgets, quilts/blankets, and much more! Grandparents love our shop and often buy holiday gifts for their grandkids here!
If you would like to contribute your new, handmade treasures, please drop them off during set-up, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, or Monday, Nov. 28. Remember those elementary school bake sales? Baking your favorite brownie or cookie with mom ... and running to the table after school to make sure you got the first pick? Now is the time to reminisce and create memories with your own children, parents and friends.
Our baked goods tables are filled with holiday confections, including fudge, pecan rolls, cupcakes, cookies, caramel apples, monkey bread and divinity. But we can't fill that table without you!

Past raffle items have included: car washes, movie tickets, hair/nail/massage services, exercise equipment, dental & orthodontic services, floral arrangements, home cleaning services, furniture, sailing excursions, and Tahoe getaways. Our visitor favorites: the annual holiday-themed cross stitch, quilt by A Quilt at Heart, and the popular Food Tree that is covered with hundreds of dollars worth of restaurant & grocery store gift certificates!

Festival of Trees is the primary fundraiser for Vacaville's Opportunity House and we have three levels of sponsorship commitment. If you are interested in helping our homeless community by sponsoring this event, please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org. To accommodate printing deadlines and to ensure your recognition in our programs and advertising, we must have your donation by October 15, 2016.
Grand Noble: $5,000. Includes special table for 10 at Gala; recognition and signage at Gala and Festival, as well as logo placement in Gala and Festival programs and websites, and prominent mentions on Festival Facebook page and in Festival advertising.
Noble: $3,000. Includes four Gala tickets and recognition in Gala and Festival programs and on Festival website and Facebook page.
Silver Tip: $1,000. Includes two Gala tickets and listings in Gala and Festival programs, as well as mentions on website and Facebook page. Monterey Pine: $500. Includes listings in programs and mentions on website and Facebook page.
